Bishop Anstey High School (also known as St. Hilary's), abbreviated BAHS, is a government-assisted all-girls secondary school in Trinidad and Tobago, founded by the Anglican Bishop Arthur Henry Anstey on January 13, 1921. It is known for its high academic standards,consistently winning prestigious national scholarships offered by the government for academic excellence, including the President's Medal in 2007. The school is also known for its excellent performances in the National Music Festival of Trinidad and Tobago. The school is located at 145 Abercromby Street, Port of Spain. The school's motto, "Non Sine Pulvere Palman," is Latin and is interpreted as "Not without dust the palm".Bishop Anstey High School is a seven year school(Form 1 to Lower and Upper Six).Qualification into Form Six is based on the student's performance at the CSEC Secondary Education Certificate Examinations.The student's uniform is a white blouse with a black and red striped tie and a blue skirt.

Activities

St Hilary's Day, the School Saint's day falls on January 13. It is usually celebrated by a religious service, which has recently been followed by a cricket match between members of the Form Six classes and the teaching staff. The Form Six students portray different caricatures and embellish themselves with absurd articles of clothing and paint.
